We were invited by the University of Portsmouth to join a project from their School of Architecture. This is a regular project undertaken by the School under the guidance of their senior lecturer. It involved folks going to do days in the workshop where we created materials with the help of the students and two of the final year students prepared things and we aided their design choices.
The ChatterBox Pavilion … offers a new public space celebrating diversity and local culture whilst promoting multicultural integration.
Some more information is here at the university’s website.
We learned things there that normally we wouldn’t do, such as using power machinery and some great art techniques! But at the end of the day it was a fun project and a great chance to interact with the university and students.
